Nicola Chanamuto
Nicola Chanamuto is a lecturer in the Lincoln Academy of Learning and Teaching, with a particular interest in international academic and student mobility. Nicola’s research explores themes of gender, care and work. Her doctoral work looked at the experiences of women migrants working as domestic cleaners in the United Kingdom. She has also worked on the mixed-methods project, ‘Caregiving dads, breadwinning mums: Routes and barriers to greater gender equality in caring responsibilities’ (funded by the Nuffield Foundation), as well as on a study of gender-based violence policies in higher education. Prior to joining the University of Lincoln, Nicola worked in the community and voluntary sector in the United Kingdom and Singapore.
