Nicola Grace
Nicky Grace is a practising independent midwife, a midwifery teaching associate with the University of Nottingham and a Ph.D. candidate in creative writing, also at the University of Nottingham. Her creative/critical thesis comprises a memoir of her experiences as a mother and midwife titled ‘With Woman’, and a critical exploration of midwifery memoir in its cultural context. Nicky is also involved with clinical research and is interested in how arts-based research can contribute to the improvement of people’s health and well-being.
