Nicoletta Marini-Maio

Nicoletta Marini-Maio is associate professor of Italian and film studies at Dickinson College and co-founder and editor of the scholarly international journal gender/sexuality/italy. Among her publications are A Very Seductive Body Politics: Silvio Berlusconi in the Cinema (Mimesis, 2015); articles on contemporary cinema, popular culture and cultural representations of the years of lead, a critical translation of Marco Baliani’s Corpo di Stato and pedagogical volumes. She is the recipient of the 2013–14 Andrew W. Mellon Wolf Humanities Center (formerly Penn Humanities Forum) fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania for her research on the Aldo Moro Affair in theatre and film.
