Nidhi Shrivastava

Nidhi Shrivastava is a Ph.D. candidate in the department of English and writing studies at the University of Western Ontario in Canada and works as an adjunct professor at Sacred Heart University. Her research focuses on Hindi film cinema, censorship, Indian rape culture, #MeToo and the 1947 partition. She has co-edited the volume of Bridging the Gaps between Celebrity and Media with Jackie Raphael and Basuli Deb. Her research has also been published in South Asian Review and a chapter in an edited volume, Graphic Narratives about South Asia and South Asian America (2019) and has a forthcoming chapter coming in an edited volume, #MeToo and Literary Studies: Reading, Teaching, and Writing about Sexual Culture.
