Niels Ulrik Sørensen’s research interests include young people’s well-being, transitions to adulthood, and youth at the margins of society. His most recent publications are Understanding Learning and Motivation in Youth: Challenging Policy and Practice (Katznelson et al. 2018), ‘Derailed self-constructions: Marginalization and self-construction in young boys’ accounts of well-being’ (Sørensen and Nielsen 2017) and ‘Living on the periphery of youth: Young people’s narratives of youth life in rural areas’ (Sørensen and Pless 2017).
