Nikita Peresin Meden
Nikita Peresin Meden’s research focuses on rural history, combining the fields of agricultural, economic and environmental history, primarily through microhistorical cases. Her primary focus is on the modern era, specifically the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. She holds a master’s degree in history and is currently working on her doctoral dissertation, which examines common land in the nineteenth century in the Karst region. Her research delves into the management, rights and the process of land distribution into private hands. Nikita is also a teaching assistant at the School of Humanities and serves as an editor for the publication Dolenčev zbornik.
