Nikolas Orr
Nikolas Orr is a Ph.D. candidate at the Centre for Studies of Violence at the University of Newcastle and teaches within the School of Creative Industries and School of Humanities and Social Science. His research focuses on the production and reception of monuments, including virtual manifestations of sculpture, iconoclasm and counter-monumentalism. Nik’s most recent article, currently pending publication, includes an analysis of the controversies surrounding the representation of indigenous peoples in virtual environments.
