Nikolina Borčić

Nikolina Borčić is an assistant professor at the VERN’ University in Zagreb. She has a BA in German and Russian languages and an MA in European studies (2008), after which she obtained two Ph.D.s, firstly in linguistics (2012) and then in communication studies (2017). The political communication of German and Croatian politicians, emphasizing the connection between powerful positions within public communication and the impact theory behind image creation and language, has been the focus of both her doctoral theses and her articles and scientific papers. She has been working in VERN’ University in Zagreb since 2002, where she teaches German, business communication, political communication, image creating in public communication, storytelling behind image creating and celebrity management strategies. Her research fields are public and corporate communication patterns, models and theories.
