Niroshan Ramachandran

Niroshan Ramachandran is a senior lecturer in human geography within the Department of History, Geography and Social Sciences at Edge Hill University. He researches sociological aspects of migration, social protection, inclusion and integration. He has researched the social protection experiences of asylum seekers and refugees in Glasgow. His current research focuses on asylum seekers’ and refugees’ criminalization experiences in the United Kingdom. He has experience working with internally displaced people in Sri Lanka and Indian returnees (Sri Lankan refugees in India).
