Nivea Canalli Bona
Dr Nivea Canalli Bona is a Brazilian journalist, Ph.D. in communication, and currently a master lecturer at the College of Communication at Boston University, United States. Her research focuses in communication, social movements, community, popular, alternative and local media and participatory media literacy having presented her findings at the International Association for Media and Communication Research (IAMCR) and Asociación Latinoamericana de Investigadores de la Comunicación (ALAIC) conferences in different countries. She has three textbooks (journalism, PR and advertising) published in Brazil Publicidade e Propaganda: da agência à campanha (Intersaberes, 2012); Jornalismo na Sociedade (Intersaberes, 2017); and Assessoria de imprensa ponte entre jornalistas e a sociedade (Intersaberes, 2017).
