Nomita Sharma

Nomita Sharma has been working in the teaching profession since 2002. Her interest includes teaching and pursuing research in management-related areas with a special focus on innovation management and its policy implications. She has been fortunate to work in interdisciplinary areas. Initially, she worked as a human resource executive for around four years in the corporate sector from 1997 to 2001. After clearing the National Eligibility Test (NET – criteria of selection in teaching jobs in India), she shifted to the teaching profession and now finally explored the research area as well. Nomita has taught diverse subjects ranging from management-related subjects like ‘organizational behaviour, marketing research and entrepreneurship’ to computer-related subjects like computer fundamentals, practical papers like – ERP, MS-Project 2010 to name a few. Her research interest area includes exploring different strategies for management of innovation and different ways that SMEs adopt for staying competitive, the study of diversity and its relation with innovation management.
