Olga Kourelou
Olga Kourelou holds a Ph.D. in film studies from King’s College London. She was a teaching fellow at King’s College London and Sussex University for several years. She now works as an independent researcher and serves as an honorary member of the Cyprus Cinema Advisory Committee. Olga’s research interests lie in gender, stars, and European cinema (especially since the crisis), with an emphasis on Greek-language film. She has contributed articles to publications including The Femme Fatale: Images, Histories, Contexts (Palgrave Macmillan, 2010), New Cinemas: Journal of Contemporary Film (2014) and Celebrity Studies Journal (2015). Olga is currently researching a new project on Mediterranean cinema.
