Olly Crick
Olly Crick obtained a BA at Exeter University in 1972 and is currently completing his Ph.D. on the aesthetics and dramaturgy of modern Commedia dell’Arte at Edge Hill University in the United Kingdom. He has taught Commedia dell’Arte for drama and circus schools and ran an intercollegiate commedia touring programme from Hereford Art College between 1998 and 2004. He is currently relaunching The Fabulous Old Spot Theatre Company, based in Gloucestershire, which aims to bring commedia to the community. He has also co-authored Commedia Dell’Arte, a Handbook Book for Troupes, published by Routledge (2002), and co-edited and contributed two chapters to The Routledge Companion to Commedia Dell’Arte (2015).
