Olympia Kiriakou

Olympia Kiriakou is a Ph.D. candidate in film studies at King’s College London. Her dissertation examines Carole Lombard’s reputation as a screwball comedian. Her work on Lombard has been published in Film Matters. Her primary interests include stardom in the classical Hollywood period, film and media histories, gender, sexuality and performance, authorship, and genre studies and style. She has presented talks at conferences such as the Society for Cinema and Media Studies, The Fan Studies Network Conference, and Visions Film Festival.
