Omar Abu Arqoub
Omar Abu Arqoub is an assistant professor in the Media and Communication Department at the Arab American University of Palestine. He holds a Ph.D. and master’s degree in communication and media studies from Eastern Mediterranean University, Cyprus. His doctoral dissertation is titled ‘Engineering of Consent: Analysis of the Israel Lobby’s Facebook Discourse in the US’, while his master’s thesis was on Israeli media coverage of the Gaza war in 2014. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from Al-Quds University, Palestine. Abu Arqoub’s research interests include public relations, social and digital media, journalism, media studies, political communication and digital security and rights.
