Oriane Morriet
Graduated in 2016 from the École normale supérieure de Paris in theatre and film studies, as well has obtaining a master’s degree from Paris III Sorbonne nouvelle in theatre studies, Oriane Morriet has completed her Ph.D. in film studies in 2022 at the Université de Montreal under the supervision of Isabelle Raynauld. She specifically studied the practices of writing for virtual reality. Her field of expertise relates to the design and scripting of works in virtual reality and 360-degree video. She is also a film writer, playwright for the theatre and an independent cultural journalist. She has scripted a virtual reality dance piece: Under Water, and hosts a podcast in French about new technologies: Humaniteq.
