Pablo Puentes
Pablo Puentes is a doctoral candidate in education, focusing his research on synthesizers, timbre education, home studio technology and piano pedagogies. He holds bachelor’s degrees in musicology from the University of Rioja, Music Education from the University of Vigo and Piano Performance from the Mayeusis Conservatory. Additionally, he earned a master’s degree in musicology, music education and early music performance from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). Throughout his academic journey, Pablo has collaborated with highly regarded researchers such as Xiao Xiao, Edith Ackermann, Diana Blom, Diego Calderón Garrido, Perfecto Herrera and Imma Ponsatí. Beyond his academic pursuits, Pablo is a versatile composer and jazz musician. He has contributed music to various films and has extensive experience as a studio musician.
