Pamela Flanagan

Pamela Flanagan is a lecturer in interior design at Glasgow School of Art. She returned to academia after working in commercial practice for thirteen years, where she specialized in fashion retail interiors and experiential brand environments. Her current research uses interior design practice as a tool to analyse the spaces represented within film/TV and their contribution to the viewing experience. In particular her interest lies in how space creates a dialogue between fiction/reality, narrative/character and to inform, imagine and explore the interpretations of fictional spaces.
