Pascal Rudolph
Pascal Rudolph is interim professor of musicology at the University of Potsdam, Germany. He studied in Berlin, Potsdam, Shanghai and Copenhagen with distinguished scholarships. He is the author of the award-winning book Präexistente Musik im Film: Klangwelten im Kino des Lars von Trier (‘Pre-existing music in film: Soundworlds in the cinema of Lars von Trier’) (edition text+kritik, 2022). Outgrowths from his previous and current work have been published in Music & Science, IASPM Journal and Twentieth-Century Music. Pascal Rudolph is the general secretary of the International Association for the Study of Popular Music German-Speaking Branch.
