Patrice DeVincentis

Patrice DeVincentis is an audio engineer, electronic musician, music technology educator and classically trained composer who has focused on many of the technical aspects of the field of digital music production. After spending time composing and performing electronic music in the early days of music instrument digital interface (MIDI) technology, she shifted her focus to studio engineering and mastering, obtaining creative and engineering credits on over 300 published projects under the name Sonic Surgery. Always surrounded by music, she has maintained a very active performance career as a multi-keyboardist. She holds three music degrees, having graduated from Westminster Choir College, Temple University and Boston University. A passionate university educator for the past twenty years, her focus is preparing students to meet the ever-changing technical demands of the evolving music industry while exploring creativity and innovation.
