Patricia González Bermúdez
Patricia González Bermúdez is teaching fellow in Hispanic studies at the School of Languages, Literatures and Cultural Studies (SLLCS) of Trinity College Dublin and a creative practitioner at the Trinity Centre for Literary and Cultural Translation (TCLCT). She studied English Studies at the Universidad Autónoma of Madrid (UAM) and at the Universität Regensburg in Germany, before moving to Paris to pursue a year learning French language and civilization at The Sorbonne. In 2006, she settled in Dublin where she successfully completed an MPhil in Literary Translation at TCD. Her research focuses on retranslation, comparative translation studies, the impact of culture on literary translation and contemporary cultural studies of Spain.
