Patrick Barron
Patrick Barron is associate professor of English at the University of Massachusetts, Boston. He has received awards from the Academy of American Poets, the American Academy in Rome, the Fulbright Commission, and the National Endowment for the Arts. His essays, poetry and translations have appeared in publications such as Aufgabe, Interdisciplinary Literary Studies, Poetry East, Forum Italicum, Two Lines, Mountain Research and Development, Paideuma and Italica. His edited and translated books include Andrea Zanzotto’s Haiku for a Season/Haiku per una stagione (2012), The Selected Poetry and Prose of Andrea Zanzotto (2007) and Italian Environmental Literature: An Anthology (2003).
