Paul Maguire

Paul Maguire, originally trained in fine art at Glasgow School of Art, developed a hybrid digital practice after being introduced to early Macintosh Desktop Publishing (DTP), and initiated the creation of the Media Studio, before lecturing on early multimedia design at Plymouth University. Professionally he has developed a portfolio of award-winning interactive media projects for clients such as the Titanic Museum Belfast, Science Museum London, Expo and the Museum of London. As an artist he has exhibited widely including Transmission Gallery, Project Space, Reid Gallery, National Theatre of Scotland and Queens Park Railway Club. He is programme leader for the BA(Hons) Interaction Design programme at The Glasgow School of Art and continues to develop his electronic media practice.
