Paula Barba Guerrero
Paula Barba Guerrero is a research fellow at the English Department of the University of Salamanca, where she is writing her doctoral dissertation on contemporary African American literature. She is the recipient of a research fellowship financed by the Junta de Castilla y León and the European Social Fund, and is a member of the research projects ‘Erasmus+: Hospitality in European Film’ and ‘Critical History of Ethnic American Literature VI’. She has authored some pieces on contemporary African American literature. Her research focuses on space, vulnerability and memory, and on what hospitality entails for the so-called ethnic minorities in the United States. Paula has been a visiting scholar at State University of New York (Cortland) and Cornell University.
