Paula Simón

Paula Simón is an associate researcher for the National Council for Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET, Argentina) at the Center of Comparative Literature of the National University of Cuyo. She is the author of the volume La escritura de las alambradas: Exilio y memoria en los testimonios españoles sobre los campos de concentración franceses (Academia del Hispanismo, 2012) and co-editor of the volume La vida dramática de Marie Curie y La Isabela, by Francisco Madrid and Alejandro Casona (Esperpento, 2016). She is the associate editor of the Boletín de Literatura Comparada (UNCuyo) and a member of GEXEL (Grupo de Estudios del Exilio Literario, UAB). Her research focuses on the relationships between literature and historical catastrophes of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, testimonial narratives of concentration and exile, and the links between literature and memory.
