Paulo Cunha
Paulo Cunha (b. 1978) is an associate professor of cinema and media arts in the Department of Arts at the University of Beira Interior (UBI), Portugal. He is a researcher at the iA* Unit of Arts based Research (UBI) and at INCT Rede Proprietas, Brazil. He holds a Ph.D. in contemporary studies from the University of Coimbra, Portugal. Since 2015, he has been the co-ordinator of the working group ‘Post-Colonial and Peripheric Cinemas’ of AIM – Portuguese Association of Moving Image Researchers and a film curator for Curtas Vila do Conde and Cineclube de Guimarães.
