Paulo Moreira
Paulo Moreira has a BA in English from UFMG and a Ph.D. in comparative literature from the University of California at Santa Barbara. He taught for nine years at Yale and is now an associate professor at the University of Oklahoma, where he directs the Portuguese programme. He has published several articles on Brazilian, Mexican, US and Latin American literature, cinema and culture, and two books Localismo Modernista: Faulkner, Guimarães Rosa e Rulfo (Editora UFMG, 2012) and Literary and Cultural Relations Between Brazil and Mexico: Deep Undercurrents (Palgrave Macmillan, 2013). He is currently working on a book on Latin American identity tentatively called Journey into Latin American Imagination.
