Peadar Kearney

Peadar Kearney is a final-year Ph.D. researcher in the French Department of Maynooth University. His thesis concerns notions of identity in contemporary francophone cinema, with particular interest in the work of Céline Sciamma, Xavier Dolan and François Ozon. His recent publications include book reviews for Québec Studies and L’esprit créateur, and a chapter in ReFocus: The Films of François Ozon (Loic Boudeau [ed.], Edinburgh University Press, 2021). His research is funded by the Irish Research Council.
