İpek Avanoğlu

İpek Avanoğlu is an architect-researcher with an interest in learning from critically informed spatial scenarios through personalized drawing-writing research methods. She received her M.Arch.II degree from The Cooper Union’s Irwin S. Chanin School of Architecture, M.Sci. and B.Arch. degrees from Istanbul Technical University (ITU). She is currently completing her design-based Ph.D. at ITU. As part of her Ph.D. studies, she has been a visiting scholar at KU Leuven through the Erasmus+ programme and International Scholar Programme. She has presented and exhibited her research at CA2RE Symposiums. Currently, she works as a teaching and research assistant in the Department of Architecture, ITU.
