Phil Ramsey

Phil Ramsey is a lecturer in the School of Communication and Media and a member of the Centre for Communication, Media and Cultural Studies at Ulster University. From 2012 to 2016, he was assistant professor in digital and creative media at the University of Nottingham, Ningbo, China. His research focuses mainly on media policy and public service media in the United Kingdom, with a specific focus on the work of the BBC. He has also conducted research on public service media in Ireland. His work has been published in a number of international journals, including Media, Culture & Society, Convergence, European Journal of Communication, International Journal of Cultural Policy and Television & New Media.
