Philip Welding
Philip Welding is Course Leader in Photography at Leeds Arts University. His photographic work fits into a narrative that he has been exploring for fifteen years in various forms, that incorporates notions of labour, creativity, boredom, resistance and productivity to critique our relationship with daily working lives. He has exhibited and published photographic work nationally and internationally including a recent exhibition at Format International Photography Festival 2019. He has presented papers at Format International Photography Festival Conference in Derby, and at the 4th International Photography and Theory Conference in Cyprus, based on art photography, the networked image and the creative intention of office pranks.
