Philippa Derrington
Dr Philippa Derrington is senior lecturer at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh and programme leader of the M.Sc. music therapy. She studied and taught modern languages in the UK and abroad before training as a music therapist. She has since worked in various settings with adults and children, and undertaken research to investigate the effectiveness and value of music therapy for young people with complex emotional and behavioural difficulties.
