Pilar Godayol
Pilar Godayol is a full professor of translation studies at the University of Vic – Central University of Catalonia. She currently coordinates the Gender Studies Research Group: Translation, Literature, History and Communication (GETLIHC) and she has led different R&D projects. Her research interests include gender and translation, feminist historiography of translation and censorship and translation. She is the author of over 100 publications, including Espais de frontera: Gènere i traducció (Eumo, 2000) (in Italian 2002), with Montserrat Bacardí, Diccionari de la traducció catalana (Eumo, 2011), Tres escritoras censuradas: Simone de Beauvoir, Betty Friedan y Mary McCarthy (Comares, 2017a) (in Catalan Punctum, 2016), with Annarita Taronna, Foreign Women Authors under Fascism and Francoism: Gender, Translation and Censorship (Cambridge Scholars Publishing, 2018) and Feminismos y traducción (1965–1990) (Comares 2021a) (in Catalan Punctum, 2020). She coordinates the series Biblioteca de Traducció i Interpretació (BTI) in Eumo Editorial.
