Prakash Krishnan

Prakash Krishnan is a media practitioner, artist-researcher, and cultural mediator engaging in anti-racism and anti-colonialism within the fields of digital and public humanities, popular media, and contemporary art. He employs mixed media methods including experimental writing, podcasting, filmmaking, performance, and curation as pedagogical tools to engage in public scholarship. As a Master of Arts Candidate in Media Studies, Prakash’s thesis explores the cultural performance and documentation of South Asian identity online. His research has been published in the Canadian Journal of Communication, Plot(s): The Journal of Design Studies and in Design and Political Dissent.
