Prodromos Tsinikoris

Prodromos Tsinikoris studied theatre in Aristotle University in Thessaloniki. He works as a director, dramaturge and performer in Athens and Berlin. In May 2008 he was invited to the International Forum of Theatertreffen, Berlin. He has worked as an actor with Dimiter Gotscheff, as assistant director and researcher with Rimini Protokoll and as a dramaturge with Lola Arias, Ana Vujanović and Saša Asentić, Dries Verhoeven, the ‘influx artist collective’ and Paul Preciado. He has directed In the Middle of the Street (Athens Festival 2015) and was part of the dramaturgy team and in charge of the research for X Apartments (concept: Matthias Lilienthal, Onassis Cultural Centre 2015).

Together they have written and directed Journey by Train (Athens Festival, 2011), Epidaurus: A Documentary (Athens Festival, 2012), Telemachos: Should I Stay or Should I Go? (Ballhaus Naunynstrasse, Berlin and Onassis Culture Centre, Athens, 2013), Utopia in Progress (Youth Theatre Constance, Germany and National Theatre of Northern Greece, 2014), Geblieben um zu gehen (Berlin’s Maxim Gorki Theatre, 2015) and Clean City (Onassis Culture Centre and Muenchner Kammerspiele, 2016).
