Qian Gong

Dr Qian Gong is a senior lecturer at Curtin University. Her research interests cover the Chinese media and popular culture and working-class identity. She is the author of Remaking Red Classics in Post-Mao China TV Drama as Popular Media (Rowman & Littlefield, 2021), co-author of Narrating Chinese Youth Mobilities: Digital Story Telling and Media Citizenship (Routledge, forthcoming 2024) and co-editor of Linguistic Diversity and Discrimination: Autoethnographies from Women in Academia (Routledge, 2023). She has published multiple articles in the fields of gender studies, translanguaging and migration studies.
