Rachel Elizabeth Coleman
Rachel Elizabeth Coleman (she/they) is an award-winning artist–researcher and embodiment practitioner. Working across live performance, facilitation, regenerative community development and academic inquiry, her research interweaves landbound creative interventions with ecologies deep and expansive. Having trained as a live art practitioner, her work revolves around central premises of collective imagining, physical storytelling and co-created resilient futures. She has performed across the United Kingdom and in digital work internationally, drawing together passions for body, connection and the uniqueness of live encounter. Her current research interests explore embodied practices in/as critical research methodologies for climate research and embodiment as a practice of world-building. Rachel also works as a communications specialist for environmental, community-focused organizations. Most recently Rachel has completed postgraduate study in movement, mind and ecology at Schumacher College, and is touring circus-theatre work across the United Kingdom. She lives in London.
