Rachel Rimmer-Piekarczyk
Rachel Rimmer-Piekarczyk (Ph.D.) is an academic practitioner and senior lecturer at the Manchester School of Theatre, Manchester Metropolitan University. Her research explores the relationship between genealogies of training in dance and performance more broadly, critical reflection and agency. She has disseminated findings from her research in several peer-reviewed journal articles, conference papers and a forthcoming book chapter. She is also an active performer and a member of the internationally recognized contemporary performance group, Reckless Sleepers with whom she has worked with in an artistic capacity since 2012.
