Rahul Koonathara
Rahul Koonathara is the youngest son of legendary shadow puppet master Padmashri Ramachandra Pulavar and K. N. Rajalakshmi, born to a traditional lineage of puppet practitioners preserving the temple traditional artform tholpavakoothu for the past twelve generations. A scholar-practitioner, he is currently a graduate student under the guidance of Matthew Isaac Cohen in the Department of Comparative Literature and Cultural Studies at the University of Connecticut.
