Ranjan Bandyopadhyay

Ranjan Bandyopadhyay is an associate professor at Duy Tan University, Vietnam. Previously, he was an associate professor at The California State University, USA, and also taught at The University of Nottingham, UK and Mahidol University, Thailand. He obtained his Ph.D. in tourism and sociocultural anthropology from The Pennsylvania State University, USA. His research interests include discourses of Otherness, globalization of suffering, volunteer tourism, critical race theory, politics of heritage, ethno-religious nationalism, colonial nostalgia, diaspora and homelessness. He is an associate editor of the postdisciplinary journal – Visual Methodologies.
