Rebecca Mayers
Rebecca Mayers is a Ph.D. candidate in the School of Community and Regional Planning at the University of British Columbia. Her critical transportation research focuses on the political economy as a lens to understand, critique and problematize urban transportation. She strives to create equitable transportation networks, highlighting inequalities in the transportation infrastructure decision-making process. In her research, she invokes innovative qualitative methodologies such as narrative inquiry, mobile methodologies and a/r/tography to contextualize the cycling experience.
