Rebecca Price
Post-Doctoral Research Fellow Dr Rebecca Price is part of the EU funded Horizon 2020 research project PASSME. Price’s research explores the application of design on problems that concern organizations, systems and industries. In particular, Price is interested in forthcoming digital innovation challenges that accompany the ever-changing society we live in – viewing design as essential to negotiating these challenges to the benefit of all. Price now resides in the Product Innovation Management department within the faculty of Industrial Design Engineering after completing her Ph.D. at Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane (Australia). Her Ph.D. explored the framework of design-led innovation through action research within a major Australian Airport Corporation. The findings of her Ph.D. led to the implementation of a number of innovations across the airport. Academic dissemination occurred through various publications during and after her Ph.D. Price has taught in Bachelor and MSc programmes on the topics of design, innovation and strategy.
