Rebecka Fleetwood-Smith
Dr Rebecka Fleetwood-Smith is research associate in sensory art at the University of Bristol. Rebecka’s background is in fashion textile design and psychology. Her Ph.D. research explored the significance of clothing and textiles to people with dementia, using sensory and creative research methods. She is currently a research associate on the UK Research & Innovation funded Sensing Spaces of Healthcare: Rethinking the NHS Hospital project, using creative approaches to explore people’s experiences of hospital environments. Broadly, she is interested in the role of the arts, design and creativity in promoting health and well-being.
