Reijo Kupiainen
Reijo Kupiainen (Ph.D.) is Professor of Theory of Visual Culture at the School of Art and Design, Aalto University (on leave); Postdoctoral Researcher at the Journalism Research and Development Centre, University of Tampere; and Visiting Academic at the Centre for the Study of Children, Young People and Media, University of London. His research has focused on media literacy, media education and visual culture. His ongoing research project is entitled ‘Youth, Literacies, and Changing Media Environment’, funded by the Academy of Finland 2009-11.
