Renaud Chabrier
Renaud Chabrier is a French author, filmmaker and artist-researcher. After scientific studies at Ecole Polytechnique and a master’s in cognitive sciences, he specialized in the relationship between drawing and movement. Using Renaissance techniques, traditional animation and digital tools such as morphing and video mapping, he contributed to many exhibitions in the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie (Paris). He then began developing new pedagogical approaches to drawing for science students. After a recent Ph.D. on the relationship between drawing, geometry and life sciences, he is currently studying how philosophy and artificial intelligence can contribute to the comeback of hand drawing.
