Renée Ugazio

Dr Renée Ugazio (they/she) (Eso- Dia- Collective) is an artist and scholar based in Naarm whose practice engages craft, spatial practice and theory. They do this informed by their practice-of-origin in metalsmithing. Renée has exhibited internationally, notably at Kuandu Museum of Fine Arts (Taiwan), Galerie Marzee (Netherlands), and widely in commercial galleries and public venues across Australia. However, they also regularly exploit opportunities to undertake unauthorized projects in public space all over the world. Renée Ugazio holds a Ph.D. from RMIT University and is currently a lecturer at the Victorian College of the Arts, Melbourne.
