Rhian Davies
Rhian Davies is Senior Lecturer in Hispanic Studies at the School of Languages and Cultures, University of Sheffield (UK), where she teaches modules on the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, and also Guillermo del Toro’s films. Her research interests include nineteenth-century Spanish literature and culture (particularly the novels of Galdós), the role of journalism during the fin de siglo, the cultural review La Espana Moderna (1889–1914), Digital Humanities and, more recently, contemporary Canarian literature and culture.
