Ricardo Horcajada González
Ricardo Horcajada González has been a senior lecturer in the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Computense, Madrid, Spain since 2019. He gained a doctorate from UCM with a thesis focussed on the role of sign, symbol and metaphor in drawing (2000). He was the head of MIAC (MFA in fine arts) from 2010 to 2013; vice dean II RR from 2013 to 2016; and coordinator of the UCM Summer School from 2016 to 2019. He has written many papers, books and book chapters about drawing. As an artist, he has contributed to several exhibitions and won awards such as the L’Oréal Award 1998, the Salón de los 16 and the Círculo de Bellas Artes de Madrid 1996.
