Richard A. Schutta

Richard A. Schutta received his Ph.D. from Regent University in 2022 and his master’s degree and post-secondary teaching certificate from Bethel University in Arden Hills, MN in 2012 and 2013, respectively. He currently is a lecturer of communication studies in the Department of English, Philosophy, and Communication Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Stout in Menomonie, WI. His research interests focus on audience involvement processes, cell phone addiction, media ecology, media effects, media and society, public speaking, and social capital and communication. He is currently developing a communication consulting practice helping individuals with various public speaking and professional communication skills.
