Richard Haynes
Richard Haynes is a Professor of Communications, Media and Culture in the School of Arts and Humanities at University of Stirling, England. Richard’s principal research interests focus on the interrelationships between sport, the media and popular culture. He has recently published work on the history of sports broadcasting in Britain, the history of sports commentary in radio and television, the impact of social media on sports journalism, the history of sport on film, Olympic broadcasting, the strategic management of sports communications, sports image rights, sports journalism and the globalization of televised sport.
